Clint and I felt the need to inform all of our guests as this type of media announcement can scare off potential guests and holidaymakers into canceling their reservations. There is certainly no need to do this. If you have made reservations in a beach location that has been closed, make your reservation at Timeless Lodge and enjoy your vacation or getaway with the peace of mind that our Beach is not contaminated.

How do we know that Umkomaas Beach is not contaminated? We have a professional and independent company that does testing on a weekly basis. In addition, and even prior to COVID-19, we have stringent health and hygiene protocols in place throughout the lodge to ensure that the risk of any contamination e.Coli or other, is dealt with in the proper manner. Our staff are well trained and versed in infection control. Hands, dishes, and all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned throughout the day.

The Timeless Lodge Golf package includes a shuttle from the airport, your accommodation, a shuttle to the golf course, greens fees, cart rental, and breakfast. On arrival, guests are booked into one of our deluxe king rooms with a private en-suite shower and patio overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The Umkomaas golf course was expanded to 18 holes in 1926. In 1932, the renowned course designer Robert Grimsdell redesigned the course to take advantage of the natural contours of the land and the stunning sea views. Most holes offer a great view of the spectacular Indian ocean.

Baby Sitting Services for Families with Babies, Toddlers or Teenagers whilst on holiday

Clint and I are offering this service as we totally understand the challenges of trying to do what you really want to do whilst on holiday, but you can't because there is no one close and reliable to watch the kids for a few hours. Now you can book that dive, go on a "date night" with your partner, etc.

You can choose to stay at Timeless Lodge and avail of our babysitting services at a reduced rate or you can stay elsewhere in Umkomaas and still avail of our services. We offer flexible hours so you can fit our service into your schedule. Babies will require to be booked in with their formula or other meals and a diaper bag. Toddlers and older children will be provided with a light snack and drinks. An emergency contact number will also be required in the unlikely event of an emergency and we need to contact you.

Our babysitting services are available Monday through Sunday from 7 am to 6 pm. Extended evening hours are offered upon special request.

To start, we are mom and dad to four wonderful children - Melissa, Cameron, Regan, and Gregory. We have two dogs, Molly and Mowgli, who will welcome you when you arrive. We have designed the lodge so you can relax and enjoy nature and recharge on your holiday. The Lodge is located close to the beach and is surrounded by lush greenery and our local wildlife - monkeys.

One of the most beautiful things about living in South Africa is being able to experience the outdoors. We are lucky enough to be able to go hiking, cycling, camping, and walking along the beach whenever we want. It’s also a great way for us to connect with nature, which is something we value a lot. It’s easy to get caught up in the hyper-modern world we live in today but knowing that we have the opportunity to get away from it all is a rare and special feeling. We would love to offer this opportunity to you and welcome you to our little slice of heaven and answer any questions you may have. I hope you’ll choose to spend the night in one of our elegant and affordable rooms.
